From industrial area to improved neighborhood. The program of the project consists on transformate the industrial zone of Alcorcón (15km away from Madrid city centre) by different tools: reorganizing the traffic; breaking XL size blocks to generate new growing axis; luffing up the area by creating green/social corridors; integrating social spaces inside the structure and selecting expanded sidewalks.

The mixed program try to combine residential use, industrial use, office use and public space but always keeping the ground floor free for creating and enriching the social layer just next to the street. XL blocks will break to create new directions along the industrial area empowering the user, the citizen, the people.. but always keeping in mind the industrial past (and present) of the project.

The result is a combination of vertical nodes distributed all along the industrial area. Towers with different skins for different proposals. Intelligent and efficient towers containing life, industry, work, people. A new neighborhood for 20,000 new people that will change the landscape of our cities in the (not so far) future.
